The spoke anchorage device consists of a ferrule (12), with the outer wall screwed into a threaded location (7) in the rim (1) of the wheel. A nut (14), having an end (25) of increased thickness, is screwed on to the threaded end (11) of spoke (10). The head of the screw fits into a seat (21) formed in an internal location (20), in the ferrule, as a ball in a cup.
