摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning structure of an air assist cap in a fuel injection valve which has high positioning strength and can accurately keep constant a position of an assist air guiding hole for a fuel injection hole. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve comprises a valve seat member 3, an injector plate 10 that has a plurality of fuel injection holes 11a and 11b and is joined to the end surface of the valve seat member 3, and the air assist cap 49 that is engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the valve seat member 3 and has the assist air guiding hole 68 for guiding assist air to an induction hollow part 67 so as to promote atomization of the injected fuel from the fuel injection holes 11a and 11b. An outwardly positioning plane 46 is formed on the cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the valve seat member 3, and an inwardly positioning plane 63 that overlaps on the outwardly positioning plane 46 and determines a circumferential position of the cap 49 with respect to the valve seat member 3 is formed on the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the air assist cap 49.
