<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strawberry conveyance body used in a strawberry automatic sorting method and a strawberry automatic sorting device for holding and opening without bruising soft strawberries being easily bruised, sorting them automatically depending on grade and class, and filling them into a pack for shipment and sale. <P>SOLUTION: This strawberry conveyance body is provided with a main body of the conveyance body guided and conveyed by being guided by a guide rail 30, a rotary main shaft 13 attached to a central part of the main body rotatably and protruding above and below the main body, a nipping device 14 capable of nipping a runner of strawberry and releasing the nipping, and an operation shaft and an operation device for opening and closing the nipping device. The runner of strawberry gripped by the nipping device 14 can turn downward and sideways and freely. The main body is like a disc, and the rotary main shaft 13 is provided with a following suppressing device protruding on an outer side from the outer periphery of the main body to come into contact with the following strawberry conveyance body. The following suppressing device moves the following strawberry conveyance body away from it the most when protruding just behind the direction of advance of the strawberry conveyance body and brings the following strawberry conveyance body close gradually as it rotates in the transverse direction.
