PURPOSE:To always develop dustproof function stable over a long period of time by forming a dust filter so as to have such a structure that a filter constituted in a felt like shape is formed into a roll shape and a new surface is always exposed by taking up the formed filter roll. CONSTITUTION:An image forming apparatus having a structure equipped with a dust filter recovering the toner or paper powder scattered in the apparatus is constituted. The dust filter is formed so as to have such a structure that a felt like filter is formed into a roll shape and the formed filter roll can be taken up. A filter casing 6 is divided at a part in the axial direction of a rotary shaft thereof and, after dust filter is received in the casing, the upper part of the casing is integrated with the lower part thereof. For example, the dust filter is provided in a copier in parallel to the ozone filter A provided on the internal air taking-in port of an exhaust fan F. In this dustproof apparatus, the dust filter used in the recovery of the impurity scattered in the apparatus can be automatically replaced and can develop dustproof function stable over a long period of time. |
