PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that can more surely clean nozzles of a recording head.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device comprises: a recording head having a nozzle formation surface where a nozzle region and a non-nozzle region are formed; a cap which can be brought into contact with the nozzle formation surface; and a suction pump which sucks air inside the cap to bring the cap into a negative pressure state, and performs suction operation for sucking ink from a nozzle array by driving the suction pump in a state that the cap is brought into contact with the nozzle region and relatively moving the cap and the recording head in a predetermined direction. The inkjet recording device further comprises: measuring means which measures a negative pressure value inside the cap when the suction pump is driven in a state that the cap is brought into contact with the non-nozzle region; and adjusting means which adjusts a negative pressure value produced inside the cap when performing the suction operation on the basis of the negative pressure value measured by the measuring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
