<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of easily capturing and printing a desired image only with a digital video camera and a multifunction device, and a control method of the recording device. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device has a recording means to print, a scanner to read in an image, an interface for inputting an image from the digital video camera, and a means of capturing a still image from a motion image and printing it.
