PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which maintains initial performance even when toners are continuously used for a long period of time without being affected by a change in temperature and humidity. SOLUTION: This image forming method has at least a developing process step for developing an electrostatic charge image on an image carrying member by using a developing device. This developing device has magnetic toners, a toner carrying member for carrying and supporting the magnetic toners on its outer peripheral surface and a toner regulating member which is supported at one end on the main body of the developing device and regulates the layer thickness of the toners on the toner carrying member by abutting other end side to the surface of the toner carrying member. The above toner regulating member is composed of two layers; a rubber material 24 and a thin metallic sheet 11, in which the rubber material and the thin metallic layer are not bonded and the magnetic toners contain at least a binder resin and magnetic material. The above magnetic material is a magnetic material containing a silicon element and aluminum element. |
