SYNTHETIC PAPER AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To heighten opaqueness by laminating the layer composed of the composition in which inorganic filler and the petrol resin of specified high softening point are compounded with crystalline polyolefin resin on the layer of sheetlike object composed of the composition in which specified petrol resin compounded with crystalline polypropylene resin. CONSTITUTION:The layer of sheetlike object composed of the composition in which the inorganic filler of 0.5-200 pts.wt. and the cyclopentadiene petrol resin of 1-100 pts.wt. with the softening point (ring and ball method) of 160-230 deg.C are compounded with the crystalline polyolefin resin of 100 pts.wt. is laminated on one surface of the layer of sheetlike object composed of the composition in which the petrol resin of 3-100 pts.wt. with the softening point (ring and ball method) of at least 100 deg.C is compounded with the crystalline polypropylene resin of 100 pts.wt. Consequently, opaqueness is heightened.
