PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a batch processing system that can grasp the progress of processing of a batch program and can quickly deal with the situation if the processing is prolonged.SOLUTION: A processing situation collecting part 7 has an API fixed for sending a processing situation 12 of processing in a running batch program 11, and collects the processing situation 12 based on the API. A processing situation inquiry part 8 determines an estimated time of end of the running batch program based on the processing situation 12 of a previously ending batch program, which ended earlier than the processing of the running batch program.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
