A device for the adjustable securing of a microphone boom at the upper end of a vertical upright comprises a holder pivotable about a horizontal axis in which the microphone boom can be longitudinally moved and clamping means to secure a set inclined position of the holder and a set position of the microphone boom. By turning a clamping nut it is possible to move a first clamping bracket up and down in relation to a second between a first and second position in such a way that, in the first position, both clamping brackets can be rotated about the axis of the holder by the free sliding of the clamping surfaces of the second clamping bracket on pressure surfaces shifted by the clamping nut to adjust the angle of inclination of the microphone boom and said boom is freely movable in the clamping brackets, while in the second position for securing the set inclination of the microphone boom, the clamping surfaces are frictionally held on the pressure surfaces and both clamping brackets secure the microphone boom against longitudinal movement. |
