PURPOSE:To obtain the subject nonglutinous rice capable of providing tasty cooked rice, assuming crystal color and excellent in springy chewiness by immersing glutinous rice in water, steaming the glutinous rice, drying the steamed glutinous rice, mixing the dried steamed glutinous rice with nonglutinous rice and packaging the resultant mixed rice. CONSTITUTION:White glutinous rice is immersed in water, then steamed, subsequently dried and pregelatinized to provide crystal color. The resultant dried and pregelatinized glutinous rice is then mixed with nonglutinous rice of crystal color and packaged to afford the objective nonglutinous rice. |
