The compressed air cleaning appts. comprises a rotatably mounted cleaning head (1) with at least one compressed air outlet nozzle (2) which is mounted eccentric relative to the axis of rotation (4) whilst the outlet opening (5) of the nozzle is designed so that a tangential force component is obtained by the emerging air jet. It is pref. to mount several nozzles at variable spacing from the axis of rotation so that the surface covered is increased. The sides of the cleaning heads which contain the outlet nozzles point in different directions and can be set at different spacing and angles. The appts. is pref. designed as part of an injection moulding or stamping machine in such a way that it can be moved into the space between the parts of the opened mould.
