PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain effective use of data, to reduce data studying load and to prepare a useful data map by setting item data in parallel to X and Y axis directions to form a matrix and preparing a display list of other item data in the matrix. SOLUTION: Application numbers (1st attention item data) and dates of application of bulletins set in parallel to each other are copied on a map sheet in the extreme left column and in the vertical (Y axis) direction respectively from an original sheet as list display items which are set in parallel to each other. Then head IPC(international patent classification, i.e., 2nd attention item data) are copied on the column header, i.e., the highest row of map sheet in the right (X axis) direction as the classification items. Then company codes (3rd attention item data) are set and located in each corresponding column for each application number of the IPC header string corresponding to the IPC value of the original sheet. Thus, a data array of a matrix form is produced. |
