A temporary protective coating obtained by the application of at least one varnish capable of being dissolved by a deprotecting solution is characterised in that the mixture of varnish and of the deprotecting solution contains microorganisms or their naturally secreted products or biological products, whose function is to degrade at least one constituent of the mixture of varnish and of the deprotecting solution at the time of the deprotection.
