PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building configured to allow air smoothly flows from below a void to above the void, to ventilate the inside of the void.SOLUTION: A building includes: a void 5 which is extended in a vertical direction of a building body 2, and has an upper opening communicating with a roof 3 of the building body 2 and a lower opening communicating with a lower circumference of the building body 2 through a communication path 8; and an in-void ventilation control structure 4 projecting upward beyond the roof 3 of the building body 2. The in-void ventilation control structure 4 is formed of a surrounding wall 40 raised from a peripheral edge portion 31 of the roof 3 to surround a periphery of the roof 3 of the building body 2, or has a wall surface raised from the peripheral edge portion 31 of the roof 3 to surround the periphery of the roof 3 of the building body 2, and an inclined surface connecting an upper end and the upper opening edge of the void 5 to each other. |
