PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted image obtaining device by which a wearer does not feel fatigue even when the wearer uses the head-mounted image obtaining device for a long time and can easily view an instrument panel, etc. without through a night-vision function, etc. and an observed object can be provided with an accurate sense of distance. SOLUTION: The head-mounted image obtaining device 1 includes an image signal processing section 40 to which an image signal for the left eye is input from an image obtaining section for the left eye 2L and an image signal for the right eye is input from an image obtaining section for the right eye 2R and which outputs the image signal for the left eye and the image signal for the right eye. The head-mounted image obtaining device 1 includes a first optical element 14b arranged in front of the eyes of the wearer P. The first optical element 14b transmits a part of a luminous flux from the front, guides the luminous flux guided to the left eye EL to the image obtaining section for the left eye 2L by changing the optical path of the luminous flux guided to the left eye EL of the non-transmitted remaining luminous flux and guides the luminous flux guided to the right eye ER to the image obtaining section for the right eye 2R by changing the optical path of the luminous flux guided to the right eye ER of the non-transmitted remaining luminous flux.
