<p>PURPOSE: To provide a disc brake in which reduced are damage of a piston and a cylinder, liquid leakage from the cylinder, partial abrasion of a pad, and noise generation at the braking by preventing occurrence of twisting of the piston which is hydraulic operated for pressurizing the frictional pad at the braking. CONSTITUTION: A shim 9 is arranged between a piston 3 and an inner pad 4 pressurized thereby. Clearances g4 , g5 between the shim and a torque member 6 are formed smaller than a clearance g1 between the piston 3 and a cylinder 2. Drugging distance g4 /2, g5 /2 of the piston 3 are obtained at the braking, and the piston 3 is not subjected to twisting in the cylinder 2.</p> |
