PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a simple modification of an output map and improve both controlling characteristic and energy saving state. SOLUTION: An isothermic device is operated under a condition of low temperature and low humidity and under a condition of high temperature and high humidity of a testing specification. The number of steps of freezing capability is forcedly increased by one step in each of the operations, each of a varying heating output and a varying humidifying output at each of the times is measured, new area lines (A1 -C1 ) and (B1 -D1 ) applied for performing the test are defined to make an area 13 of increased number of freezing steps, an area 14 for keeping the freezing state and an area 15 for decreasing the freezing state and there is provided means for changing the area line operated in such a way that a plurality of freezing capability steps can be controlled. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to determine an appropriate output range with a simple operation and further to control an energy saving operation and the number of freezing capability steps having improved controlling characteristic. |
