PURPOSE:To reduce the installation cost and to suppress the attenuation of the laser beam to the minimum by irradiating the laser beam emitted from an oscillator through switching to a plurality of machining heads to machine a plurality of works. CONSTITUTION:A truck 6-2 where a laser beam machine 28 is mounted is moved to the position designated by the control device to machine a steel plate 3-2. A shift device 5 where a laser beam oscillator 21 is mounted traces and approches the laser beam machine 28, and stops. A truck 6-1 starts to move to the position designated by the control device to reduce the machining time of the steel 3-1 in parallel to the preparation for maching of the steel plate 3-2. After the machining of the steel plate 3-2 is completed, the shifl device 5 traces the truck 6-1 which is already positioned and approaches it and stops to machine the steel plate 3-1. Thus, a plurality of works arranged in parallel on a carrying means 4 can be machined by a set of the laser beam oscillator 21. |
