PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a machine vision camera for inspecting a subject by outputting a captured image to a PC, that although it is possible to change the output image size of the camera, the image captured previous time remains if the display size of the PC is not aligned, and such a problem that it is inefficient to change the display size of the PC every time when setting the optimum shooting range of a camera.SOLUTION: An imaging device capable of outputting image data of different image size read from an image sensor in response to a control command, includes control means for changing output of dummy image data and the image size based on the conditions of change, when changing the image size of the image data to be outputted, and outputting the image data from the image sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
