PURPOSE:To obtain an ink for ink-jet recording having excellent storage stability and free from the problem of the solidification of ink at the tip of a head by adding specific amounts of carbon black and a water-soluble resin having a specific glass-transition temperature to an aqueous medium. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink giving a recording image having excellent fastness such as water resistance and light resistance when printed on a non- coated paper, and suitable for ink-jet recording, is composed of (A) an aqueous medium preferably containing ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, (B) carbon black and (C) a water-soluble resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of >=50 deg.C and dissolved in the component A, wherein the amount of dissolved component C is <=2wt.%. |
