PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable generation of image data which are resized without deletion of information of an object which is specified by a user and high in importance level.SOLUTION: An image processing device for performing image processing generates first distribution data which are adjusted in image area importance level on the basis of second image data for specifying an image area associated with the type of an object contained in first image data and the importance level of a specified object. When generating second distribution data in which the pixel value of each pixel of the generated first distribution data is diffused with a specified gap value, the image processing device generates third distribution data by combining the first distribution data and the second distribution data. A predetermined pixel is deleted from or added to distribution data obtained by adding the generated third distribution data and importance level distribution data based on density variation of each pixel of the first image data to generate resized image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
