<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation autothermal reforming apparatus for efficiently raising the temperature of a reforming catalyst inside a reformer, in a short time to a temperature at which a reformation raw material can be reformed. <P>SOLUTION: The oxidation autothermal reforming apparatus 1 is equipped with: a reforming unit 1A that is at least partially charged with a reforming catalyst and generates a reformed gas consisting essentially of hydrogen by a reforming reaction of a reforming raw material; and an oxidation heat generating unit 1B that is at least partially charged with an oxidation catalyst and oxidizes a part of the reforming raw material or of the reformed gas to generate heat, wherein the reforming unit 1A is placed on an upstream side of the oxidation heat generating unit 1B, an oxidative gas-introducing line 4 is installed as a means to supply an oxidative gas to the oxidation heat generating unit 1B, with one end of the line being extended to the oxidation heat generating unit, and an oxidizing heat generating substance introducing line 9 is installed as a means to supply a substance that generates heat by oxidation to the oxidation heat generating unit 1B, with one end of the line being extended to the oxidation heat generating unit 1B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
