PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated teller machine operation planning system that makes a cash utilization plan while quantitatively taking account of an economic loss derived from stoppage of the ATM.SOLUTION: The latest balance of cash and deposit/withdrawal achievement data are acquired from each of plural ATMs. Based on the deposit/withdrawal achievement data, a predictive deposit/withdrawal quantity is predicted for each ATM. A transportation time of cash and a loading quantity or collection quantity of cash are designated as an operation plan for each ATM. Based on the latest balance, predictive deposit/withdrawal quantity, transportation time, and loading quantity or collection quantity, a predictive balance of cash and a predictive loading quantity or predictive collection quantity of cash are calculated for each ATM. An operation cost of each ATM is calculated based on an interest cost dependent on the predictive balance, a transportation cost dependent on the transportation time, and an opportunity loss cost dependent on the predictive deposit/withdrawal quantity for a period during which the ATM is stopped and which is estimated based on the predictive balance. The transportation time and loading quantity or collection quantity of an operation plan which minimize the calculated operation cost are outputted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
