<p>A steam injector (1) for direct heating of flowing material, comprising an injection chamber (2) provided with an inflow opening (3) and an outflow opening (4) for flowing material to be heated, as well as a third opening (8) associable to a source of steam external of the chamber. A diffusion conduit (5), internal of the injection chamber (2), directly connects the inflow opening (3) with the outflow opening (4). The walls of the diffusion conduit are provided with a plurality of channels (7) which place the diffusion conduit (5) in communication with the rest of the injection chamber (2). The walls of the diffusion conduit are constituted by a single-piece tubular element (9).</p> |
