PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety cover device in which a safety cover closes automatically when a cam follower is attached with respect to a shaft of a paper feed shaft.SOLUTION: A safety cover device 1 comprises: an actuator 10 into which motive power for actuating a cam follower 200 for fixing a shaft 31 of a paper feed shaft 3 to a paper feed part 2 is inputted; and a safety cover 11 attached to a movable part 100 of the actuator 10. When the motive power for attaching the cam follower 200 to the shaft 31 of the paper feed shaft 3 is inputted, the actuator 10 moves the movable part 100 to a position where a gear part 2a of the paper feed part 2 is covered with the safety cover 11. When the motive power for detaching the cam follower 200 from the shaft 31 of the paper feed shaft 3 is inputted, the actuator 10 moves the movable part 100 to a position where the gear part 2a of the paper feed part 2 is not covered with the safety cover 11. |
