<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve smooth tone expression in printing using an ink which includes a hollow resin. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus includes an ejection mechanism which ejects, toward a recording medium, both a first ink containing hollow resin particles and a second ink for ejecting towards the recording medium the second ink that does not contain a colorant and contains both a permeating liquid as a liquid to permeate to the inside of the hollow resin particles and a fixing resin compound as a resin compound with an average particle diameter of not larger than the average particle diameter of the hollow resin particles and for fixing the permeating liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
