A partition cover (21) is disposed on the front end surface (19C) side of a heat exchanger (19) with a gap provided between the partition cover (21) and a cab (13). A heat exchanger chamber (26) for housing the heat exchanger (19) is formed between a counterweight (14) and the partition cover (21), and a utility chamber (27) for housing an air cleaner (35) is formed between the cab (13) and the partition cover (21). The partition cover (21) is configured so as to include: a lateral partition plate (22) which faces the rear surface (13A) of the cab (13) and which extends in the left-right direction along the front end surface (19C) of the heat exchanger (19); and a tilted partition plate (23) which is tilted obliquely rearward from a front end of the lateral partition plate (22), the front end facing a left side frame (6), to the heat exchanger chamber (26). The cylinder body (36) of the air cleaner (35) is disposed obliquely rearward along the tilted partition plate (23) in such a manner that the opening (36A) of the cylinder body opens obliquely rearward, the opening (36A) allowing a filter element (37) to be inserted therein and extracted therefrom. |
