The present invention provides a metaheuristic method for designing a pipe network on the basis of water source tracing, the method comprising: an input and basic analysis step for inputting information on pipes and junctions constituting a pipe network which is connected to a plurality of target reservoirs, and performing a basic analysis through hydraulic and water quality analyses; a pipe network division step for identifying dominant reservoirs for the junctions and pipes of the pipe network and dividing the pipe network into a plurality of subnetworks; a subnetwork optimization step for deriving, for each of the subnetworks divided in the pipe network division step, a solution as many times as the predetermined number of solution generations, which has been previously set in a storage unit, using a metaheuristic approach so as to calculate the diameters of the pipes of the divided subnetworks, which allow the water pressure at the junctions to be equal to or greater than a predetermined minimum water pressure previously set and stored in the storage unit and allow objective functions representing the costs of the subnetworks to be minimized; and a pipe network integration step for connecting the divided subnetworks, calculated in the subnetwork optimization step, on the basis of the junctions at which the subnetworks are connected, wherein the pipes are corrected such that the water pressure at the junctions of the integrated pipe network is equal to or greater than the predetermined minimum water pressure previously set and stored in the storage unit. |
