<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a used car auction system which enables a user to purchase a used car without anxiety by enabling the user who has purchased the used car, to have the used car repaired free of charge even when a fault occurs during normal use after purchase. <P>SOLUTION: A used car trade manager gives a vehicle guarantee allowing gratuitous repair within a prescribed period to a used car and puts the used car to auction. When making a successful bid for the used car, a bidding participant pays a successful bid-side payment including a successful bid-side guarantee fee for the vehicle guarantee and a price for the used car, to the used car trade manager. A seller who had entrusted the knocked down used car receives seller-side receipts resulting from subtracting a seller-side guarantee fee from the price for the used car, from the used car trade manager. The used car trade manager pays a premium from the successful bid-side guarantee fee and the seller-side guarantee fee to an insurer. When gratuitous repair is demanded to the used car trade manager, the used car trade manager pays a repair cost charged by a repair shop where the used car has been repaired, and can receive an insurance payment for the repair cost from the insurer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
