RADIO BASE STATION DEVICE, RADIO TERMINAL DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station device, communication system, radio terminal device, and communication control method that can perform adequate operation regarding switching an active state and a dormant state of the radio base station device.

SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a radio terminal device 202; a coverage base station 201 for communicating with the radio terminal device 202 by exchanging radio signals with the radio terminal device 202; and a capacity booster base station 101 for shifting to the active state to start exchanging radio signals with the radio terminal device 202 when receiving a communication start instruction from the coverage base station 201. When a prescribed condition is met, the radio terminal device 202 transmits a request to shift the capacity booster base station 101 to the active state to the coverage base station 201, and on receiving the request, the coverage base station 201 transmits the communication start instruction to the capacity booster base station 101.
