It is possible to provide a hybrid vehicle capable of modifying a charge quantity of an accumulator depending on whether external charge is performed. The hybrid vehicle (100) has a control device (60) which asks a driver whether he/she has a plan to go to a charging point such as a home. When the driver has a plan to go to a charging point, the control device (60) sets an accumulator state quantity (SOC) smaller than a value when the driver has a plan to go to a charging point. Thus, it is possible to receive energy as much as possible at the charging point, which reduces the dependence on an internal combustion engine and makes a contribution to environment protection.
