VIBRATION DAMPING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping method using a composite material obtained by dispersing a magnetic material into a polymeric material for developing high damping performance even in a lower temperature region than a glass transition temperature region of the polymeric material itself. SOLUTION: The vibration damping method comprises using the magnetized composite material obtained by a process (1) and a process (2) for making a vibration propagating direction the same as a magnetizing direction: the dispersing process (1) for dispersing the magnetic material into the polymeric material to obtain the composite material and the magnetizing process (2) for magnetizing the magnetic material in the composite material in one direction to obtain the magnetized composite material.
