The invention relates to a rotatable open fronted shelter that automatically turns away from the prevailing weather, the shelter is controlled by a sensor and an electric motor. The shelter is preferably dome shaped with an open front, and preferably constructed from aluminium, wood, metal or plastic frames. The frames may be fitted with polycarbonate, glass or Perspex (RTM) panes which may be clear, translucent or coloured. The frames may be suspended from a central hub mounted on a central metal, wooden or plastic pole, around which the shelter rotates. The shelter may be driven by a motor that receives a signal from a sensor mounted at the top of the shelter. The sensor may sense the wind direction and thereby send a signal to the motor to tell it which direction it must turn. The shelter may also be turned manually. |
