A terminal and a terminal unlocking method, the terminal (10) comprising: a camera (101) combined with any button of the terminal, a control unit (102) and an image matching unit (103), wherein when the terminal is in a standby state, the camera (101) is used for collecting an image within a shooting area thereof and sending the image to the image matching unit (S101); the image matching unit is used for comparing the image collected by the camera with pre-stored unlocking images (S102); and when the image collected by the camera is matched with any one of the pre-stored unlocking images, an unlocking command is sent to the control unit (S103); and the control unit is used for unlocking the terminal from the standby state according to the unlocking command sent by the image matching unit. |
