PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To particularly prevent gas leakage from a sewing place and flapping of an inner bag, when expanding an airbag.SOLUTION: A curtain airbag device comprises: an inflator 3; an airbag 1 having an insertion part 1a of the inflator 3, a plurality of chambers 1b for expanding by gas jetted from the inflator 3 and a duct 1c for connecting these chambers 1b and the insertion part 1a and formed in a bag shape only by a textile; and an inner bag 2 for deriving the gas jetted from the inflator 3 inserted into this airbag 1 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle in the duct 1c. The airbag 1 is provided with a part 1e, where a seam 4 is not formed, on the lower edge 1f in the vicinity of an opening part 1aa of the insertion part 1a and the upper edge 1g of the duct 1c except for the opening part 1aa of the insertion part 1a of the inflator 3, and the inner bag 2 is sewn (5) together at the part 1e, where the seam 4 is nor formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
