PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a member dispensing with a conventional method for removing existing members for connecting between a water-proofing member for flashing of a wall connecting section, a ridge section, a verge section and a valley section each constituting an existing roof and a roof plate, in a repair method for repairing a building material containing asbestos by covering with a roof boarding made of a metal plate having backing member integrally molded. SOLUTION: In repairing the building material containing the asbestos, an adjusting plate for adjusting the mounting position between the water-proofing member for flashing of the wall connection section, the ridge section, the verge section and the valley section each constituting the roof and the roof plate is used to allow them to be connected, enabling installation work without removing the existing members.
