PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass lens molding apparatus which can prevent poor molding of glass lenses resulting from irregularity of the size in a height direction of molding die modules. SOLUTION: When glass lenses are molded all at once in mold cavities of a plurality of molding die modules 1 in a hot-pressing step, upper molds 1B in a plurality of molding die modules 1 are pressurized individually while being heated by a plurality of heater rods 6. Thus, poor molding of glass lenses resulting from irregularity of the size in a height direction of molding die modules 1 is prevented. Further, heating time in the hot-pressing step is shortened because the upper molds 1B are preheated by being brought into contact with upper heater blocks 6 in the previous step of the hot-pressing step.
