<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door weather strip capable of closing a door in a relatively smooth way. <P>SOLUTION: The door weather strip is mounted on a peripheral edge of a door 3 of a car body 1. The door weather strip comprises a mounting base part 11 mounted on a retainer 10 provided along a peripheral edge of a door frame 4, and a seal part 12 having a hollow part 12a. The seal part 12 has an intra-vehicle side edge 15 extending to the car body 1 side when closing the door 3 in a vicinity of an intra-vehicle side edge of the mounting base part 11, and an extra-vehicle side edge 16 consisting of a first edge 16a extending outward of the vehicle from a tip of the intra-vehicle side edge 15 and a second edge 16b to connect the first edge 16a extending outward of the vehicle from the tip of the intra-vehicle edge 15 to a part in a vicinity of the extra-vehicle side edge of the mounting base part 11. A boundary part between the first edge 16a and the second edge 16b out of the seal part 12 is located outside a connection part of the mounting base part 11 to the second edge 16b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
