PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for introducing a medicine having high water solubility and having remarkably low permeability for a liposome membrane into liposome by the utilization of a solubility gradient between the inner/outer water phases of the liposome. SOLUTION: This method for producing the liposome preparation, comprising forming the liposome and then introducing a medicine into the inner water phase of a liposome suspension, is characterized by mixing the liposome suspension with an introduction medicine solution made by dissolving in a solvent which is lower in solubility for the medicine than the outer water phase of the liposome suspension and has miscibility with the outer water phase, thereby forming a solubility gradient between the inner/outer water phases to introduce the medicine into the liposome.
