PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment enabled to perform a slip agent application stably on a skirt guard by reporting the jamming of a slip agent spray.SOLUTION: In an escalator 10 including a plurality of footsteps 26 for circulating and moving between entrances, and a skirt guard 28 arranged to clog the side faces of the footsteps 26, a slip agent coating equipment comprises: an applicator 42 attached to the face of the footsteps 26 to face the skirt guard 28; and a slip agent spray 44 disposed in a lower machine chamber 12b for blowing a slip agent to the applicator 42. The slip agent coating equipment applies a slip agent to the skirt guard 28 by the movement of a footstep 26 further comprises: an imaging part 46 for imaging the slide contact face 42a of the applicator 42; and a control part 50 for determining the state in which the slip agent sticks to the slide contact face 42a, on the basis of the imaging data of the imaging part 46, thereby to report the decision result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
