PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire mold easy to assemble and having high assembling precision and a high absorbing effect of thermal expansion. SOLUTION: The tire mold 2 is equipped with a plurality of segments 4 arranged along a peripheral direction. Projected parts 20 capable of being projected toward the end surfaces 16 of other adjacent segments 4 are provided to the end surfaces 16 of the segments 4. The projection parts 20 are constituted so as to elastically protrudes and retreat. In a cooling process, the gaps (s) between the adjacent segments 4 are ensured by the projection of the projection parts 20. The projection parts 20 always press the end surfaces 16 of the other adjacent segments 4. The gaps (s) become narrow simultaneously with the retraction of the projection parts 20 accompanied by the thermal expansion of the segments 4.
