Safety valve for pressurised flowing fluid - has externally mounted valve seat with internal bellows and valve spring unit

The safety valve is for pressurized flowing fuids and is designed no to become jammed or to seize up when required to operate after long periods of inactivity. It comprises a housing (1), a valve seat (3) mounted outside the housing, and a bellows (4) which is located inside the housing and aligned axially to the valve seat. A spring unit (19) within the housing forces the bellows into a first position in which the valve seat is held closed. A valve shaft (12) couples the valve seat to the spring unit. The function of the valve depends solely on the pressure and hence it can be operated using practically any flowing mediu.
