PURPOSE:To improve deterioration and nonuniformity of the illuminance of an original surface by arranging an optionally movable luminous flux reflecting member between two illumination lamps, and controlling lamp voltage in accordance with a detected amt. of light received. CONSTITUTION:Light radiated from the opening part 4a of a red lamp 4 consists of light 24a directly illuminating the original surface 2a and ''so-called reset of light'' 24b reflected with the luminous flux reflecting member 7 and illuminating the original surface 2a. A transparent material 21 receiving the light 24b causes it to advance straight to a reflecting plate 22 and to be reflected in the prescribed direction, and to illuminate a photodetector 23. In outputs an exposure signal in accordance with the received light amt. to a controller. The controller judges the exposure amt. in accordance with the level of said signal, and when it does not reach a prescribed value, the controller raises the voltage of the lamp 4 and controls it so as to obtain a prescribed constant exposure amt. |
