PURPOSE:To make a complicated developing device unnecessary, and to make a device small in size and thin by executing the reciprocating motion of the photosensitive body from right to left, arranging the charger at the rear surface of the recording paper facing the photosensitive body surface, charging the recording paper to the electrostatic charge and the homopolarity of the toner and irradiating the light from the photosensitive body rear surface. CONSTITUTION:A toner 14 stored at toner pools 19a and 19b passes under electrode plates 16a and 16b and is supplied to the photosensitive body surface by the weight and the reciprocating motion of the toner itself. Since the voltage is impressed through an electric power source E1 to the electrode plates 16a and 16b, the toner is charged. For the surface of a photosensitive body 11, the reversed polarity charge is guided by the charge of the toner and the toner is attracted. The toner of the surface of the photosensitive body 11 comes to be the thin layer with the equal thickness by reciprocating the photosensitive body under the electrode plates 16a and 16b from right and left. While the photosensitive body 11 is shifted from right to left, an optical beam 15 is irradiated to the rear surface of the photosensitive body 11 by the light irradiating means just under a charger 13, and then, the toner on the light irradiating part is transferred to a recording paper 12 charged by the charger 13.
