PURPOSE:To secure an excellent side view so as to prevent water and dust from intruding by aligning the stop position of a wiper blade roughly with the position of a side window molding whereby providing a flow path for discharging water which is collected underneath said stop position, out of the side door. CONSTITUTION:A wiper device 22 is provided in the inside of a side door 20, and when a device is in operation, a portion of a wiper arm 31 is extended upward out of a gap between an outer panel 23 of the side door 20 and a side window glass 21 whereby a wiper blade 32 is moved to the position of maximum displacement from it stop position. Then water which is collected from the maximum displacement position to the stop position, is received by No.2 side window molding 34 for discharging it out of the side door 20 through a gutter 38. And when the device is inoperative, the wiper blade 32 is held at the horizontal level roughly same as the position of a side window molding 33. Accordingly, this constitution can prevent, water, dust and the like from intruding into the side door 20 and also can keep normal contact with the side window glass 21.
