This valve has a controlled throttle point, arranged in the feed channel leading to the trailer. Control of the valve, in the braking installation with several circuits, is effected by means of two control chambers 17, 18 into which are sent, on the one hand, the service braking pressure and, on the other hand, the braking pressure transmitted to the trailer. In the event of equality of the pressures, the throttle point has no effect. In order to obtain a close-tolerance throttle cross section, this throttle point comprises a stop valve 22 with an orifice 24, a seat 23 and a flap 25.
