PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of various shapes and to improve the attracting force of an engaging tool by forming a projection on both or any one of ferromagnetic plates attached to the pole face of a permanent magnet made of a specific material, and attracting them through a hole formed at the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A hole 1a is opened at a permanent magnet 1 of annular plate state made of rare earth element powder, such as samarium, cobalt, etc., and rubber synthetic resin, such as chloroprene, butadiene, etc. A ferromagnetic plate 2 is attached to the pole face (a), the magnet 1 is engaged within an inverted traylike nonmagnetic case 4 having a hole 4a, and the magnet 1 and the plate 2 are engaged by a connector 4b. Ferromagnetic projections 3a, 2a protruding from a ferromagnetic plate 3 abutting through the case 4 against the pole face (b) of the magnet 1 and the plate 2 are detachably attracted through the hole 1a to one another or to the plate 2 or 3. The magnet has much larger holding force than a ferrite, and an excellent attracting force is provided. Since the material can be stably obtained and the molding is performed by charging in a cast mold, various shapes can be easily formed.
