发明名称 METHOD OF MEASURING FLOW RATE OF EASILY FOAMABLE LIQUID
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the flow rate of a high-viscosity or gelatinous easily foamable liquid with simple instrument by uniformly dispersing and mixing the bubbles in the liquid to uniformize the density of the liquid prior to supply of the easily foamable liquid to a flow meter. CONSTITUTION:The bubble-contg. high-viscosity fluid delivered from a pump 1 is dispersed and mixed with the air bubbles in a static type in-pipe mixer 2 and is then delivered to the Coriolis-type flow meter 3, by which the flow rate is measured. The high-viscosity fluid admitted into the mixer 2 is stirred to uniformly disperse the air bubbles contained therein. The fluid of the specified density is thereby supplied continuously to the U-tube part of the flow meter for which Coriolis force is used. Since the helix angle of the U tube generated as the fluid passes therein is, therefore, maintained at the specified value during the passage of the fluid, the error in the measurement of the helix angle is decreased in the flow rate measurement of the easily foamable liquid.
