PURPOSE: To enable measurement with high sensitivity and reliability by obtaining direct vibration at a damaged axis by, after obtaining acoustical electric conversion, bringing it outside through rotational contact and then taking it out as an electric fluctuation component. CONSTITUTION: Relating to an acoustic electric converter, when the vibration occurs due to rotation of the shaft in a bearing, the vibration is detected by a voltage sensor element 5, and, through the control gate of an FET13, transduced into electric pulse, so that a fluctuation component is produced in current. The current is, through a rotational contact 9 of low resistance, applied to a resistor R. If the resistance value of the resistor R is assumed R, voltage V (which arises here)=R(i+▵i), with V2 =R▵i, displayed as direct current component, and V2 =R▵i displayed as fluctuation (AC) component representing the signal received from an element 5. Then, V2 =R▵i is taken out with a capacitor 15, then recorded with an oscilloscope or a recorder. Thus, with a minimum noise interference, measurement with high sensitivity and precision is obtained.
